Children’s Book Week: August 19 – 26

Schools, libraries and students will soon spend a week celebrating Australian children’s literature. The ACTF has a range of engaging content and resources for Children’s Book Week. 

Fans of the Little Lunch books and TV series will love our Q&A Webinar with author Danny Katz and illustrator Mitch Vane. Filmed at the ACTF office, this webinar gave primary students the opportunity to ask Danny Katz and Mitch Vane about their experiences in creating Little Lunch, and how they turned their books into the TV series that followed.

Danny and Mitch discuss topics relevant to Australian children’s literature, including:

We have broken down this YouTube video into individual questions and answers, meaning that teachers can jump straight to the topics which interest their students most. Danny and Mitch’s Little Lunch books are available to purchase in the ACTF shop, along with a range of other popular books for children.
