Who Got Funded At The ACTF Board Meeting?
At the Board meeting on 8th March 2017, the ACTF Board approved script development funding for five independent production companies:
Blue Rocket, Tasmania, received funding for Alexander the Elephant, a 52 x 12 minuted animated series for 4 – 7 year olds, based on the picture book and music CD by Pat Davern and Martin Chatterton.
Essential Media, NSW, received funding for WeirDo a 13 x 24 minute live action comedy/drama live action series based on the WeirDo books by Anh Do.
Gristmill, Victoria, received funding for The Schoogle Detective Agency, a 40 x 12 minute episode mockumentary series based on an original concept by Robyn Butler and Wayne Hope.
The Content Agency, NSW, received second round funding to further develop Independence, a 26 x 24 minute live action drama series.
Latenite Films, Victoria, received second round funding to further develop Super True, a 13 x 24 minute live action drama series.
