Summary:
My Place is a familiar children's picture book that has been made into a TV series. Essentially, the book and the series look at children from different families and various cultures that have lived in the same place for more than 200 years in Australian. The Australian Children’s Television Foundation, partnered by Education Services Australia (ESA) and the Geography Teachers’ Association of Victoria (GTAV), has developed an extensive array of digital resources that support primary and middle years teachers to implement the Australian Curriculum: History, as well as for English, Geography and The Arts. The resources provide discipline-based and integrated teaching strategies that genuinely ignite students’ interest in the history of Australia, both Indigenous and non-Indigenous.
