Ginger and the Vegesaurs enters new era in North America

The prehistoric preschool favourite Ginger and the Vegesaurs will be available for millions of children to view in the US, after PBS secured North American rights to the series.

Ginger and the Vegesaurs has captivated children worldwide with its playful mix of adventure, humour, vibrant visuals and loveable vegetable creatures. Since Season 1 debuted on the ABC in 2022, it has been acquired for more than 70 territories worldwide.

Following its success on ABC in Australia and the BBC in the UK, where the series has accrued more than 48 million views on BBC iPlayer, the ABC and BBC have co-commissioned seasons four and five, which are now in production.

Produced by Cheeky Little Media for the ABC, Ginger and the Vegesaurs follows the daring adventures of Ginger, a fiery young Tricarrotops as she navigates the lush, primeval Vegesaur Valley alongside her adorable companions, the Baby Pea-Rexes, Split, Minty and Wasabi. With themes of teamwork, problem-solving, and exploration, the series aligns seamlessly with PBS’s mission to inspire curiosity and learning in young audiences.

The show will premiere on PBS Kids with episodes available for streaming on the free PBS app available on iPhone, Apple TV, Android TV and smartphones, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Samsung and Vizio.
