Sales Up in the Air (and Everywhere)!

2018 has got off to a flying start (literally!) for the ACTF sales team with Stellar Entertainment acquiring multiple episodes ofBalloon Barnyard for Virgin Australia’s inflight entertainment system; Global Eagle (USA) picked up more episodes of Little J & Big Cuz for Qantas, as well as licensing for the first time for the Australian carrier episodes of Little Lunch and Balloon Barnyard; while Global Eagle (UK) licensed more episodes of Little Lunch for Emirates, and this time also picked up the two Little Lunch Specials for the UAE based global carrier. There’s certainly a lot of Australian made kids content flying around the world right now!

Meanwhile, beIN Media (Qatar) licensed the live action comedy series Little Lunch for broadcast on their pan regional kids channel Jeem TV, and national public broadcaster RTV Slovenija licensed Balloon Barnyard for their pre-school block with Martina Pestaj (Head of Children's and Youth Programme) declaring “I love it”!

Outdoor Channel Asia, operated by Multi Channels Asia and based in Singapore, is dedicated to outdoor lifestyles and aspirations, which saw them picking up the rights to factual adventure program Bushwhacked! (Series 1).

Also in Asia, TVB (Hong Kong) re-licensed factual documentary series MY:24, as well as the third series of factual adventure program, Bushwhacked!.

Live action comedy series Little Lunch will continue on Netflix but will also include the two Little Lunch specials – The Nightmare Before Graduation and The Halloween Horror Story. In addition to the USA, UK and Ireland, Little Lunch also will now be available to Netflix kids & families in Norway, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands and Belgium, where kids will have the opportunity to enjoy the mockumentary style humour of Little Lunch for the very first time.

The Little Lunch special The Nightmare Before Graduation is nominated for an International Emmy® Kids Award in the Kids: TV Movie/ Mini-series category. The winner will be announced at the 6th International Emmy® Kids Awards to be held on Tuesday, April 10th at the Intercontinental Carlton Hotel in Cannes during the upcoming MIPTV market.
