Resources to build cohesion, teamwork and leadership
Teachers, build teamwork and leadership among your new students in 2024. This collection of resources will support primary and secondary teachers in fostering a positive classroom environment in Term One.
Developed for students and teachers in Years 7 to 10, this resource explores the themes in First Day, including gender identity, inclusivity, allyship and leadership. Students will also learn about and reflect on the importance of diverse representation on screen.
Written for Year 5 and 6 teachers and students, this resource details 10 lessons on teamwork and leadership. These can be delivered consecutively as a learning sequence or as standalone lessons.
Each lesson incorporates curriculum links, a relevant MaveriX clip, discussion starters to prompt classroom conversation, and learning tasks aimed at developing students’ teamwork and leadership knowledge and skills.
This resource explores key themes from Mustangs FC, including gender, relationships, mental health, leadership and diversity.
Suitable for upper primary and lower secondary students, the resource provides teachers with discussion starters, engaging provocations and learning tasks, all linked back to clips from our award-winning series about an all-female soccer team.
