Chronicling the secret lives of teddy bear Jeremy Buttons and his ragtag team of toy friends, Knee High Spies is a unique and ambitious series featuring state-of-the-art puppets, animatronics, VFX and live-action performances with fast-paced action, epic missions, and puzzles that the audience helps to solve.
The first season of Knee High Spies is currently streaming on ABC iview in Australia and is due to launch on the BBC’s CBeebies in the UK this weekend. The series recently took home the BANFF World Media Festival – Rockie Award for Children: Live Action and the SPA Award for Children’s Production of the Year, and is currently nominated for a Logie Award for Best Children’s Program.
Following the continued success of Season 1, the gang is back in action, embarking on new missions to protect their human family from the sneaky schemes of their pet guinea pig, Silver Paw – whether it’s meddling with the kids' epic pillow fort, sabotaging a family game of leap the lava, or causing trouble with an adorable pet bunny. To save the day, the spies will need help from preschoolers around the country to solve a fresh batch of brainteasing puzzles and uncover clues along the way.
The Werner Film Productions series is created by Tim Bain, directed by Jack Jameson and produced by Nicole Minchin.
Stream Knee High Spies season one on ABC iview now and will be available on Cbeebies and BBC iPlayer from 11 July.
Knee High Spies Season 2 is a Werner Films production for the ABC. Major production funding from the ABC and the Australian Children’s Television Foundation (ACTF). Financed in association with VicScreen. Developed with the assistance of the ABC and the ACTF. Distributed internationally by the ACTF.
