The ACTF has established a number of innovative education programs in partnership with schools, festivals, education departments, the entertainment industry and other organisations throughout Australia.

Each program is focused on improving student outcomes, and promotes both personal and wider community development.

DEECD - Strategic Partnerships Program

The Strategic Partnerships Program (SPP) provides funding to community, cultural and professional development organisations, to deliver student learning programs and professional learning for teachers that are linked to the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) priorities and initiatives.

There are a wide range of partners involved delivering programs such as artists in schools, multicultural and drama programs, sustainability in schools and historical programs.

The ACTF is a member of both the SPP Arts and Historical and Cultural networks, which have been created to enable the sharing of ideas and the work of organisations and associations, and promote the development of collaborative partnerships and implementation of innovative programs for schools, students and teachers.

In 2012, the ACTF received triennial funding for the delivery of a program to the Victorian regions, designed to support teacher professional development in the areas of multi-modal teaching and learning, and developing multi-literate learners.

In 2015 the ACTF received triennial funding for the 2015-2017 period to deliver script-writing workshops to students across Victoria via video-conferencing.
