German children’s network Super RTL has picked up the second season of documentary-adventure series Bushwhacked! from the ACTF ahead of the show’s scheduled launch at MIPTV in April 2014.

Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific has acquired the ultimate children’s wildlife series World Animal Championships (WAC) from the ACTF.

Fourth-time Trop Jr entrant and first-time finalist, Adrian Di Salle has won the world’s largest short film festival, for kids by kids, with his short film The Adventures of Lucy. 

The third annual Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) has announced its award nominees and a number of ACTF supported tiles are in the running.

The seventh Trop Jr festival kicks off this sunny Sunday 8 December from 11am at its new venue Brazilian Fields in Sydney’s Centennial Park.
