Hannah Bradford, a 12-year-old transgender girl, is nervous about starting at a new school. It doesn’t take her long to make friends and she discovers the first day of high school is difficult for everyone.

Episode 12
Arafura File Snake – Arnhem Land, Northern Territory
Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory is Australia’s final frontier. Cut off by floods from the rest of the country for six months a year, Brandon and Kayne arrive too early, so their first challenge is getting across the East Alligator River – a croc-infested expanse of water that is not for the faint-hearted. Once inside Arnhem Land, they meet a few locals from the Indigenous community, who help them track down an Arafura File Snake, which Kayne has to cook and eat with his new friends. But there is just one catch – this rare delicacy lives in water – the same water that crocodiles live in! Will Kayne survive this heart-pumping challenge to enjoy his feast? Will the locals enjoy his cooking skills?

Fifteen year old Tara Webster has grown up on a farm in outback Australia and has dreamt of being a dancer ever since she was a little girl. When she makes it into the National Academy of Dance - the best school in the country - she is sure her life is about to be spectacular. What Tara doesn't realise is how far behind she is in her training, and that there's a whole lot more to surviving the Academy than just dancing...

When Mikey moves from New Zealand to Western Sydney, he finds himself in the thick of the ultra-competitive, schoolyard game of handball.

After saving a kid on the playground from a wayward ball and finding he has the powerful strike in the world, Mikey is befriended by Jerry and Salwa, who join forces to train him to become a weapon of precision and skill - equipped to topple resident king of the court, Tiffany, and take home the Western Suburbs handball crown - if only he could make the ball land in the right suburb!

Little J and Levi squabble over a ‘pile of junk’ in the bush - should they build a fortress or pirate ship cubby? They compromise and love their creation - until Big Cuz tells them what they thought was a ‘pile of junk’ was a senior lawman’s camp. Maybe they can set things right.

In Nowhere Boys, four boys return from a school excursion to discover they are stuck in a parallel world into which they were never born. Combining supernatural, action-adventure elements with comedy and genuine human drama, the series tracks the group’s journey in their quest to find out what happened to them and how they can return home.

 

SUNDAY: Mustangs FC on ABC iView

Mustangs FC is a goal kicking comedy drama about girls who are abandoning the sidelines and starting their local football club’s first all female team. Against the odds, they’ll stand united and overcome any challenge the club, the boys or the opposition can throw at them, all while wrestling with what it means to be a girl today.
