New seasons of Ginger and the Vegesaurs on the way

Production has commenced on two new seasons of the hit animated preschool series Ginger and the Vegesaurs, produced by Cheeky Little Media.

The series chronicles the adventures of Ginger the Tricarrotops and the mighty Vegesaurs, the juiciest and crunchiest creatures ever to roam the planet.

Created by Gary Eck and Nick O’Sullivan, Season 1 debuted on the ABC in 2022 and is now available in more than 70 territories worldwide.

Following its success on the ABC in Australia and the BBC in the UK, where the series has amassed more than 48 million views on BBC iPlayer, the ABC and BBC have co-commissioned seasons four and five. The Australian Children’s Television Foundation (ACTF) has provided production finance.

ACTF Head of Content Bernadette O’Mahony said: “Ginger and the Vegesaurs is a funny, clever and original series, beloved by audiences worldwide, and we’re excited to be a part of the two new seasons.”
