Plan your 2024 school year with the ACTF Learning Calendar
Celebrating the educational, social and cultural value that Australian screen stories hold for children, the ACTF Learning team develops resources and events to build on this value. These resources and events align with the Australian Curriculum, supporting students and teachers to view, analyse, respond to and create screen content in the classroom and beyond.
Our new Calendar seeks to make this breadth of ACTF content, resources and events more visible to teachers to assist with planning. Depending on their teaching contexts, educators can search for listings relevant to only primary or secondary settings if preferred. The Calendar can share upcoming listings in either day, month or year view, and it enables users to add resources and events to their existing calendars.
We invite you to use this new Calendar to find engaging Foundation – Year 10 lesson plans for English, Humanities and Social Sciences, Civics and Citizenship, History, Geography, Health and Physical Education, Science, Media Arts, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures, Critical and Creative Thinking, Ethical Capability, Intercultural Capability, Personal and Social Capability, and more. Teachers will also find cross-curricular resources to draw on for student inquiries into communities, safety, teamwork, leadership, consent and respectful relationships, and more.
Access the Calendar here.
We welcome teacher feedback on this new website feature. Please get in touch at education@actf.com.au to share your thoughts.
