The PM’s Daughter is back for a second term

The second season of the popular political comedy-drama The PM’s Daughter will premiere next month on ABC ME and iview.

The critically acclaimed tween series will air on Monday 12 June at 6pm on ABC ME, with all 10 episodes to be available on iview from 7am.

The PM’s Daughter, produced by Fremantle Media, tells the story of Catalina Parkes Pérez, a teenager who’s like any other, but with one difference: her mother is the Prime Minister of Australia.

In the second season of the political comedy-drama series, Cat has finally settled into life at The Lodge, but she quickly learns that the journey of the Prime Minister’s daughter is never smooth. While juggling the pressures of a federal election campaign, an emerging conspiracy and her mum’s highly publicised love life, Cat’s journalism aspirations are put to the test as she digs to uncover her first story.

ACTF Executive Producer Bernadette O’Mahony said: “The second season of The PM’s Daughter is full of mystery and intrigue, as well as the wonderful humour, rich plot twists and snappy dialogue that won over audiences during season one. We’re excited for fans of the show to reunite with their favourite characters, brought to life by a talented young cast led by Cassandra Helmot.”

Catch up on the first season of The PM’s Daughter on ABC iview.
