ACTF Education Outreach: Pre-service Teacher Visits
As part of our ongoing outreach to schools, teachers and pre-service teachers, ACTF Education recently hosted three groups of pre-service teachers from Australian Catholic University.
The third-year students shared their experiences from recent teaching rounds, including the use of screen content in their teaching – both to illustrate concepts, and to study as visual texts. Focussing on senior secondary English this semester, these pre-service teachers and their lecturers were also eager to learn about our content and support materials relevant to secondary students.
The ACTF Education team introduced content including the MY:24 series and related filmmaking app, our range of freely available study guides, and additional support materials including our webinars with industry professionals.
If you are a pre-service teacher or academic wanting to arrange a 2018 group visit to the ACTF, or a virtual session with our education team, please contact: janine.kelly@actf.com.au.
