International Day of the Girl Collection - Digital Download

The ‘International Day of the Girl Collection’ features four short films that explore pivotal and challenging moments in the lives of 12-year old girls. 

This collection includes:

• A Field Guide to Being a 12-Year Old Girl: This is a film about 12-year-old girls, made by 12-year-old girls, for 12-year-old girls, or anyone that has been a 12-year-old girl, or will be a 12-year-old girl, or wishes they were a 12-year-old girl. Running time: 20 min

• First Day (2017): It’s Hannah’s first day of high school. It's also the first day she’ll wear a girl’s school uniform and go by her chosen name instead of the boy’s name she was given at birth. Running time: 18 min

• The Funny Ones: Four bright-eyed young comics keen to develop their skills, team up with some of Australia's funniest women to create their first comedy show. Running time: 23 min

• Summer’s Day: Summer is 11-years old and she’s just got her period for the first time. Without a mother to guide her, she navigates becoming a woman, and her body image troubles, with the help of her best friend Mackenzie. Running time: 22 min
