The Deep, Little Lunch eBook win at Kidscreen 2017

The winners of the 2017 Kidscreen Awards have been announced at the Kidscreen Summit in Miami, Florida.

Australian animated series The Deep received a Kidscreen award for ‘Best New Series’ in the ‘Programming: Kids’ category.

The Deep is an Australian/Canadian co-produced animated series by A Stark Production and DHX Media. It follows the adventures of the Nekton family - a brilliant team of underwater explorers. The Deep is a place where leviathans swim through sunken cities, where pirates lurk amidst floating black markets and where a mysterious group of guardians hide long lost secrets.

In the digital category, education multi-touch book Little Lunch: A Teacher’s Guide (ACTF) has received an award for ‘Best eBook’ in the ‘Preschool’ division.

The winning ACTF eBook is designed to support the integration of the Little Lunch App and Little Lunch children’s television series into teaching and learning practices.

The Kidscreen Awards take place annually to celebrate the year’s best work in children’s television. You can view the full list of winners here.
