Sketch-O-Matic Nominated for 2015 Excellence Award

The ACTF’s Sketch-O-Matic; a digital sketch comedy writing tool inspired by the You're Skitting Me TV series; has been nominated for a 2015 eLearning Industry Association Excellence Award.

The Excellence Awards celebrate the achievements of the eLearning industry and showcase the best projects delivered this year from around Australia.

The Sketch-O-Matic is a finalist in the Best ‘K-12’ category, recognising the resource as a quality tool for students to explore the comedy genre and write their very own script.

For several years, the eLearning Industry Association has honoured the ACTF with nominations in the category for resources including the MY:24 App, Language of Belonging – Wadu Matyidi, Reading and Viewing for Comprehension, Backyard Science and Dance Academy: Arts Education.

This year’s nomination, the Sketch-O-Matic was based on the You’re Skitting Me Australian children’s sketch comedy series, produced by Cordell Jigsaw Zapruder and broadcast on ABC3.

The winner of the ‘K-12’ category will be announced at the eLearning Awards Gala Dinner and Presentation Night on Wednesday 18 November, 2015. To book tickets or to sponsor a table at the awards dinner visit www.elearning.org.au
